英会話の為のゲーム

I have a lot of easy and fun games to practice English speaking. Here are a few:

This is a game called “Would you rather…” ( どちらの方がいいか?).  We take turns moving around the board and asking each other different questions. Very easy and very fun.

This game, called “Don’t say it”, gets a lot of laughs. You get a card with a word, for example “Tree” and a few words you CAN’T say, like “Leaf”, “Green” “Branch”etc. You then have to describe the word to your partner so that he or she will guess TREE. Much easier than it sounds.

This is a popular game that we play as kids in America, now it’s a card game too! Basically, you pick a few adjectives, nouns, verbs, etc and so does your team mates, and you end up making silly sentences. Good for a laugh.

This one is very interesting! Each card has a scientific fact, and then ask you a (easy) questions, based on the fact. The facts contain some special science related words, but the questions are easy, making this fun for intermediate level students.

Lone Wolf and Cub, or better know as 子連れ狼 in Japan! I am most likely the only person in Japan that owns this game. Many years ago, an English version of this manga came to America and was somewhat popular, so a game (in English of course) was made.

Lots of original art from the comic!

And then I have lots of great books to stimulate conversation. The top book has many. MANY questions grouped by different themes. The second book has many 正義 and 倫理 related questions.

And then I have other games as well. Most of these Americans grew up playing, so they are great for you to not only learn English but learn a little about America thinking.
